Valley Packing and Catering was started in LaSalle, Colorado by Kyle Miller and his wife Lori in October of 1996.

Kyle is a certified working chef, having worked at some of Colorado's finest restaurants including "The Fort" restaurant and "The Broker" restaurant. He has also worked as a chef for the King Sooper's grocery chain. The Miller's live on a small ranchette in Brighton, Colorado where they have raised and are still raising three boys, horses, cattle, and a large assortment of domestic pets.

Soon after opening Valley Packing the couple saw their sales and clientele base rise dramatically. After starting with just two employees they soon grew to a business with thirteen full-time and several part-time employees, not including themselves or their sons.

Hiring some of the best people in the custom meat industry, then taking good care of them, has resulted in just two employee turnovers in the past nine years. The employees of Valley Packing have a great deal to do with the companies success.

Currently, Valley Packing and Catering has eleven employees plus Kyle and his wife Lori. The workforce has over 160 combined years of meat and food service experience. This experience benefits the consumer by creating the quality, consistency, and professionalism that Valley Packing and Catering has prided itself upon since its inception.
